Basketball highlights: Megan is a three-time letterwinner and three-year starter, beginning her career as a forward before moving to point guard her senior year. She is a co-captain and is averaging 10.4 points, 3.1 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 2.3 steals per game for the Timberwolves, who are 8-5 overall, including 5-1 in the Six Rivers West Conference this season. She was named the Six Rivers Conference Player of the Year and the team's Most Valuable Player as a junior to lead River Ridge to the league title. She also earned all-conference first-team honors as a sophomore.

Volleyball highlights: A three-time letterwinner and three-year starter at middle hitter, Megan earned Six Rivers West Conference first-team honors, was a co-captain and the team's Most Valuable Player as a senior.

Track and field highlights: Megan is a three-time letterwinner, competing in the 200-meter dash, 800-meter relay, triple jump and discus. She was a sectional qualifier in the discus and 800 relay as a sophomore and freshman. River Ridge won the conference title her sophomore year.

Rodeo highlights: Megan won the Wisconsin High School Rodeo Association All-Around Cowgirl title and titles in breakaway roping and goat tying as a junior. She competed at the 2010 National High School Finals Rodeo in Gillette, Wyo.

Cumulative grade-point average: 3.5

Favorite subject: English Literature

I got my start in sports: competing in rodeo when I was six years old, basketball in fifth grade and volleyball and track and field in seventh grade.

Academic honors: member of High Honor Roll throughout high school ... nominated for Principal's Leadership Scholarship award.

Hobbies: tubing, waterskiing, riding horses

Post-high school plans: attend Northwestern Oklahoma State University to study psychology and compete in rodeo.

Did you know? Megan competes in barrels, poles, breakaway roping, goat tying, cutting and team roping with her older brother, Ron. Megan competes in and practices daily for about two hours from April to November.
