LOS ANGELES, July 29 (UPI) -- U.S. comedian and game-show host Drew Carey has lost 70 pounds, UsMagazine.com reported Thursday.

"I just got sick of being fat," the 52-year-old entertainer said at the 2010 CBS Summer Press Tour Party in Beverly Hills, Calif.

He credited a cardio program for his new figure.

"There's nobody really standing over me. I do work with somebody who gives me advice on what to do, how many minutes to run, what my heart rate should be and all that kind of stuff," said Carey, current host of the game show "The Price is Right."

UsMagazine.com did not say how much Carey weighed before he shed the 70 pounds.
